Artwork has an amazing ability to bring delight and joy to our lives. In this collection of art I have been working in oil, acrylic and watercolor. Different subjects call for different ways to capture the essence of what I'm painting. While some of these I have painted by my own ambition others are commissioned from others. The commission process is not a hard one and is very enjoyable to have your ideas, emotions and/or loved ones transformed into an original piece of art. The experience of being an art collector cannot be understated. The first step to have a painting created for you is, of course, to contact me to discuss what you would like. If it is a pet portrait, I do work well from photos if they are good ones with a good light source. Outdoor photos with light coming from the side tend to work the best. This can all be discussed at the time you contact me.
The second step is the sketches. I can do rough sketches to give you an idea of how your painting will look on the painting surface. Sketches also give me an idea of what you are wanting in your art piece. After you pick a sketch for me to work from I can start your painting. For those really perfect photos, sketches might not be necessary. Thus speeding up the completion of your new artwork. Please allow up to six weeks for a painting to be finished. Prices are determined by painting size and are available by request.
